The correct answer is B: my left tibia. This is what the front part of my leg looks like after my first day of kitesurfing. I had a major slam of the board against my lower leg and this is the result. I iced it and elevated it and took some ibuprofen, but the excess fluid has since drained down my leg and has pooled at my ankle (compare lower picture)--so yes, now I have a cankle. You know that bony bump on the inside of the lower leg (called the medial malleolus)? Well, I can no longer see mine. So sad. It doesn't really hurt any more, but it looks awful.

Wow.  So, I've been doing nothing but studying 'the back of my front off' for the shelf exam for Path I and Path II.  Took it Monday and I should be relieved to be done, but I'm still feeling a bit 'switched on,' after the 12 hours-per-day of study!!  Crazy scheduling, but I think I passed.  Won't find out for a few weeks, but whatever. . .

I've stumbled upon yet another reason to give more of my money to Apple . . . 

"Apple is publicly opposing Proposition 8 and making a donation of $100,000 to the No on 8 campaign.  Apple was among the first California companies to offer equal rights and benefits to our employees' same-sex partners, and we strongly believe that a person's fundamental rights -- including the right to marry -- should not be affected by their sexual orientation.  Apple views this as a civil rights issue, rather than just a political issue, and is therefore speaking out publicly against Proposition 8."
